Where plastic sleeps

In this body of work, discarded plastic becomes an enduring presence within the landscape—settling into shorelines, streets, waterways, and the rhythms of daily life. What is designed for brief use remains long after its purpose has passed, woven quietly into the environments it was never meant to inhabit.
Moving between documentary observation and contemplative image-making, these photographs consider the tension between beauty and consequence, abundance and waste. They invite a closer look at what has been left behind, and at the uneasy stillness with which it remains.
